TIME TO GO

Well we are just about ready to go, most of the food is on board and also the clothes and gear i am going to need for the next few weeks , the weather looks good and it looks like the wind is behind me for the the first couple of days , I am looking to get down to a place called Badalona which is just north of Barcalona its about a hundred miles so should be there for wednesday night , get a bit of rest then on to errrrr,,,, well I will head south anyway, SOME PICS OF THE IMPORTANT BITS like pg tips and the chart of madiera , yes I know its 1939 but i will try and get a newer one any way the rocks have not moved much ,and a picture of me waving goodbye, I have had a hair cut thanks to my friend Jean shorter than normal but its fine , so here we go , think of me tonight , bye bye

LESS THAN A WEEK TO GO 29/3/09

Well it has all come round so quick , and there seem to be a hundred things that i need to do. Jackie has almost finished the new sun awning that I will use when at anchor to keep the rays at bay ,Ive changed the oil and filters and got most of the kit back on board , the place needs a major clean up with hoover and dusters so will tackle that in the next day or so . With regard to the food i will just get enough stuff for the first few days as food is a lot cheaper in Spain and so is diesel , I am not sure where my first stop will be , it really depends on the weather , i would like to get straight down to Badalona which is just north of Barcelona, but lets not get to excited just yet, If you click on this link it will show you a map of where i am , and also of my progress

i hope anyway , not quite got the hang of all the techno stuff yet and my 63 year old brain is creaking if it doesn't work just type it in and you will eventually get it , then click on the blue place marks,I am hoping to have a day out fishing with my mate Les the tractor boy on Simo ,, before i go so will post some pictures of the enormous fish we catch , picture shown is one we caught last year ( we wish ) I am getting excited and nervous at the same time, and really cant wait to cast my lines and be on my way
